Q: Where is your Yoga studio located? A: Recovering Roots Yoga studio is in downtown Collinsville, Oklahoma at 914 W Main Street. Q: I'm not flexible, can I do Yoga? A:Absolutely! Alyssa works with all ranges of flexibility and will help meet your needs accordingly. Q: Does Yoga help build strength? A: Yes, physically and mentally! Q: I have an injury/health concern, can I still attend a public class? A: Get a note from your doctor and discuss the injury/health concern with Alyssa via email prior to class. Q: I am (insert religion here), can I practice Yoga? A: Yes. Recovering Roots Yoga is not designated to any specific religion - human beings are welcome. Q: What type of Yoga is practiced at your studio? A: Hatha Yoga. Q: How old must I be to attend public classes at Recovering Roots Yoga? A: You must be at least 11 years of age. Q: How early should I arrive before my first class? A: Please arrive 10 minutes early. Q: What should I wear to class? A: Clothing you feel mentally and physically comfortable in & that which enables you to move around freely. (No Jeans!) Q: Can I leave my shoes/socks on in the studio? A: No, please remove shoes and socks upon arrival. Q: What do I need to bring to class? A: Water Q: How long does each class last? A: Each class lasts 60 minutes except for the Kids class which is 30 minutes. Q: How much do public classes cost? A: $13 Q: What are acceptable forms of payment? A: Cash or Check. Q: Do you offer Hot Yoga? A: No. Q: What if I pass gas in class?! A: Don't feel ashamed, it's a normal bodily function that occasionally gets the best of us all! Q: May I sit in on a class? A: No, out of respect for my clients that are practicing. (Exception is made for the Kids class, caregivers are welcome to relaxin the sitting area.) Q: How do I know which class will be best for me?
